Connecting your computer monitor
You are going to need a few things to make sure your Computer Monitor
is hooked up correctly to your computer.  You are going to need the correct connector for your computer to work properly. The standard monitor has multiple connections via Graphics Card: VGA and/or DVI.  VGA Stands for "Video Graphics Array." and DVI Stands for "(D)igital (V)ideo (I)nterface." On some Graphics Card you will find an S-Video Connection.  This connection may be present on some Televisions and Larger Screens.  S-Video and Y/C, is an analong video transmission (no audio) that carries standard definition video typically at 480i or 576i resolution.  When connecting your computer monitor make sure you are positioning your monitor correctly and the cord that you decide to use is long enough.  The   VGA or DVI cord should be long enough so that it does not pull or put any strain on the cords connectors.  This could cause it to disconnect or cause interference with the signal.

Step 1: Check the Computer and see what type of connection it has. It is important that when choosing a monitor that the computer have the same type of connector.  (A graphics card may be purchased separately if the monitor you want is not available on your computer.)
Step 2: Check the provided cord from your monitor for compatibility.
Step 3: Connect cord to monitor first using a screwdriver.
Step 4: Connect cord to computer using a screwdriver.
